Well … that didn't take long. Earlier today (Oct. 4), Suicide Silence made the announcement that All Shall Perish vocalist Eddie Hermida had filled the vacant spot of the late Mitch Lucker. Of course, the obvious question was how this would affect All Shall Perish, but only hours after Suicide Silence's announcement, All Shall Perish revealed that Hermida has quit.

Who: In Flames, Demon Hunter, All Shall Perish + Battlecross

All Shall Perish guitarist Ben Orum has chosen to leave the band in order to focus on being a father. A statement just released by Orum details his inability to tour with the band while continuing to be an attentive father, while letting fans know that he will continue making music with the new and smaller project, Oblivion.

The music world continues to mourn the loss of Suicide Silence's Mitch Lucker, a rising star in the metal community who perished in a motorcycle accident on Halloween night earlier this year. In the wake of his death, a memorial show designed to raise funds for Lucker's young daughter, Kenadee, was recently announced and now some of the talent has been revealed.

In Flames are currently on tour in the U.S. with Lamb of God, and the Swedish metallers have just announced they will be returning to the States in February for a headlining run with Demon Hunter, All Shall Perish and Battlecross.
